The Pre-Loader increases loading capacity of the feeder by 1 meter, ensuring a more comfortable and uniform loading. It also helps to eliminate marking problems by reducing the pile height in the hopper. Gathered signatures are loaded manually into a series of trays which move stepwise towards the infeed hopper. A motorized gripper transfers the contents of each tray onto the hopper incline.
The Plus enables a more efficient unloading of sewn book blocks. These are stacked in uncompensated piles of 150mm maximum height and delivered on a roller table near the loading station. When ordered with the Sistema Loader, the Plus stacker is equipped with a two meter slip-torque roller delivery in order to keep the loading and delivery station close together.
