The SignaLynx is a signature recognition system developed by Meccanotecnica. It is based on new "artificial vision" technology and offers a higher degree of accuracy even with text-only signatures. It features high-speed digital cameras, a one-book makeready, extensive error recognition and operator notification, automatic signature count recognition, automatic setting of sensitivity and tolerance. Minimal operator intervention is required. The bar code reader is available as an option. The SignaLynx is a standard feature on most Meccanotecnica equipment, and is available for retrofitting on the majority of modern bindery machines in need of a reliable control system. Thanks to the technology of CCD cameras, it has an extremly high resolution.
To date more than 1500 Signalynx control units have been installed on machines produced by Meccanotecnica and other suppliers. All our customers are very satisfied with the performance of the system.
