The Kristec is a special "on-demand" book sewing machine. It can collate, fold and thread sew flat sheets coming from digital printing systems such as the Xerox DocuTech, iGen4, Docucolor and HP Indigo. The Kristec combines the convenience of short run production with the durability and lay-flat properties of thread sewing. It includes a sequence checking scanner, a book separator and a thread shortening device. The redesign includes the maximum size enlargment, an update of the drive motors and a new user interface.
