The Aster 220 SA is our flagship model. Its maximum mechanical speed is up to 220 cycles per minute. The Aster 220 SA features a Siemens computer control and touch-screen color monitor that enables quick and easy programming of the most common signature opening sequences.
During start-up the Aster 220 SA automatically measures book size and sets the timing of the transport saddle, the position of the register guide in the sewer and the position of the motorized side knives on the delivery table. The Aster 220SA automatically recognizes the size of the signature and consequently established the set-up by itself. Job change time is drastically reduced to few minutes.
The Aster 220 SA can be employed in various types of Meccanotecnica automatic gathering and sewing lines: Multiplex SA, Magix, Bombax and Bombix.
Complemented with the Sistema pre-loader and the Plus stacker it offers the best in terms of ergonomy.
